Jennifer Anne

Premium CV Writer

I retired in 2009, after a long career at the Volkswagen Group, South Africa, where I managed quite a few Treasury Departments while juggling a very satisfying side-line as Volunteer Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Missionvale Care Centre. Here I worked with Sister Ethel Normoyle. Both the Centre and Sister became legends in South Africa and have been awarded numerous international awards. It's worth You-Tubing. Words cannot do justice to this oasis of care and love in a sea of poverty and degradation. I then worked in the UK for a year as a Carer, my so-called Gap Year, and wrote a book "Maid in the UK", available on Amazon. After returning to South Africa, somewhat reluctantly from that green and pleasant land, I worked part-time as Accountant, Admin Manager, HR Consultant, Logistics Co-ordinator, and main office baker of fine cakes for Zipski 23 cc. You have to love these small and medium size enterprises. What you cannot do, you learn to in double quick time. Anyway, after my fake retirement, I have now actually retired and structure my day by writing for the CV Centre. I have actually been a writer for them for some 6 years or so but could not take on as much as I would have liked owing to said part-time job as well as ill-health for a period. I live on the banks of the Swartkops River valley in a delightful little place called Amsterdamhoek in a blue wooden house overlooking the estuary, and when I look outside my office window, I can see our wonderful bush and its variety of flora and fauna. My husband does my proofing and my 3 children, all over the world, are my biggest cheerleaders. When not beavering away on a Client Order, I can be found walking, patchworking or crocheting while listening to political podcasts. I am a Boris expert, believe it or not, as well as a keen follower of American and African politics. Every day is different, as is every client and I approach each order like he or she is my relation or friend.

The whole process was very comfortable and easy. I needed a boost in my CV and of course trusting them was the right thing to do.

Highly recommended.
